Please see the below information if your child is playing in an age group above their natural age group.

Out of Age applications (OOAA's):

Any player wishing to play up an age group rather than in their natural age group, will be required to complete an Out of Age Application form which is available from the clubhouse on registration days or at the committee meeting.

For example - if your child was born in 2001 and is turning 11 this year, their natural age group is U11's. If they wish to play in U12's this year, they WILL be required to complete an out of age application EVEN IF THEY HAVE PLAYED UP AN AGE GROUP IN PREVIOUS SEASONS.

Acceptance of the out of age applications is not automatically granted. Approval will be subject to the volumes within the requested age group.

This policy is enforced to ensure that players requesting to play up do not take the place of a player who naturally belongs in that age group. This has occured in previous years and causes a lot of angst for the players and families involved. OOAA's will not be accepted after 2pm on the 11th of February 2012. Please feel free to discuss this process with the committee at any time.
