Changing a fixture

Overview

If you cannot field a team (see Resources > Rules for minimum number of players) either due to to illness, injuries, suspensions or absences, then you must notify the Club Secretary immediately via secretary@balgowniejuniors.com.au.

MiniRoos games can often be changed simply by communicating with the other team, but changes will only be instigated if the reason is a valid one (in the opinion of the Club Secretary).

Please review the 2023 FSC Competition Regulations – Change Of Fixtures Section available here

Graded teams only

In order to change a fixture, firstly agree the new date / time with the opposition Club. FSC  must be advised at least 7 days prior to the match and the proposed change must either be before the scheduled match or no later than three days after the scheduled match.

  • If the match brought forward is washed out then it will revert back to the previous date and time.
  • If the a match is requested after the scheduled date and all other games in the round are washed out then the game shall be cancelled.
  • If a match is requested after the scheduled date where the round is played and that match is washed out then the match will be null and void; in other words it will not be re-scheduled.

Clubs who wish to use this need to communicate with each other to ensure that:

  1. the venue is available
  2. the opposition team is available.

If it is a night match then it can only be played at venues where FSC has the current light certificate (minimum 100 lux).

The Secretary will assist the process through contacting the opposition Club where required and submitting the relevant Form to FSC.
