Announcement: BJFC awarded a Growing Football Community Grant by Football Australia and the Commonwealth Bank to deliver an extensive in house BJFC Female Player, BJFC Female Coach and BJFC Female Manager Education and Mentorship Program across the rest of the 2025 season. ๐๐๐![]()
-> BJFC is proud to announce that our funding application to the Growing Football Fund, as supported by CommBank and Football Australia, has been successful. ![]()
-> We are very grateful to have been selected as one of 120 Football Clubs around Australia to have received Round 2 funding and we are now ready to launch our Project plan and activities, starting from next week.![]()
-> With 271 female registered players placed in both Mixed and Girls teams, 22 all girls Teams in age groups between U6 and U15 and 54 female Coaches and Mangers involved at BJFC in 2025, the funding has allowed BJFC to build a 10 week project plan of mid week female focused development activities at Judy Masters Park aligned with our Teams existing Training Schedules so everyone and every Team can be invited, get involved and participate.![]()
-> We also acknowledge and thank Football South Coast who have worked closely with BJFC in recent weeks on the project planning, and as of next week FSC will be directly involved with the implementation of the '2025 BJFC Player, Coach and Manager Education and Mentor Program'.![]()
-> This post is a great way to finish the 'Female Football Week' series, with the Team photos today from our U12 Girls Division 1, U13 Girls Division 1 White and U14 Girls Division 1 Teams and their Mum's after their games on Mothers Day. ![]()

# Happy Mothers Day post #5 - a great atmosphere and vibe right across the weekend with so many Teams who recognized their Mum's in awesome Team photos. Featured here are our U8 Gold Mixed, U12 Division 1 Mixed and U13 Division 1 Black Girls Teams with their Mum's.![]()
-> Also a special shout out as part of Female Football Week to our female player Chelsea E, who is pictured here with her U12.1 Mixed Team, along with their Mum's and Nan's after their game on Ground 1. Chelsea completed grading at the start of the season and is is the oldest BJFC female player selected in a Division 1 Mixed Team in 2025. Congratulations and well done Chelsea!
# Happy Mothers Day post # 4 from U11 Girls Black who Coach Peter reports secured the win after the girls played a great big effort game away at Lakeside with no substitutes, U11 Red with their Mums and some of their Grandmas, and also our U12 Blue Team and their Mum's.
