Volunteer Canteen Support

As we all know, the canteen is a vital part of creating a positive experience for players, parents, and supporters, while also providing essential funding for trophies, equipment, and club operations. We need your help to make it all happen!

How the Canteen Volunteer System Works

Its a simple and flexible volunteer system to ensure the canteen runs smoothly. Here’s how it works:

• A spreadsheet will be shared with Coaches and Managers. Volunteers can select the time slots that work best for them, so we no longer need to allocate specific times. It’s up to your team to choose what works best!

• Each volunteer covers a one-hour shift and can work around their child’s game, they are able to elect for more shifts if they wish to help more.

• Coaches and or Managers add their volunteers’ names, contact details spreadsheet.

• For Saturday games, selected teams will need to provide 2-4 volunteers throughout the morning except for U6/7 allocating 1-2 volunteers

• Saturday teams will typically be rostered only 1-2 times a year as it is shared around.

• For Sunday games, selected teams playing at home will need to provide 1 volunteer per home game.

• Sunday  teams will typically be rostered only 1-2 times a year as it is shared around.

• Please check the Dribl app for your game times, and encourage your team to select volunteer time slots that work around their child’s game.

• There will be Canteen Crew always on hand to help you on the day when you arrive and while your volunteering so you won’t be alone

Rewards for Volunteers and Teams

We’ll be tracking the volunteers each team provides throughout the season and be providing some rewards including a monthly draw for a lucky volunteer from the month

It’s a fun and rewarding way for individuals and your team to shine both on and off the field – so rally your parents to get involved!
