2026 Player Registration Process and Grading Schedule

The Playfootball registration system has undergone a major upgrade in preparation of the 2026 season.

STEP 1
Register to play for Balgownie Junior FC in 2026 at the Playfootball Registration portal.

Pay your fees

For new players, email proof of age / DOB to registrar@balgowniejuniors.com.au

If you have a full or partial team of 4, 5 or 6 – U6 players and a Coach and Manager all registered and ready to nominate please download and submit a U6 Teamsheet and submit your requested team list to registrar@balgowniejuniors.com.au.
Note: Teams are subject to approval.
If you are returning in 2026 with a full or partial team in U7, U8, U9 and the players, coaches and managers are all registered please download and complete a U7 to U9 Teamsheet
and submit your requested team to

U10 through to U19 official grading, trial and grouping sessions will be held in early February 2026 as per schedule listed below.

STEP 5
In late February 2026, BJFC will organise  and finalise all U6 players into teams.
In February 2026, BJFC will organise and form teams to ensure even numbers across age groups and teams.
The BJFC Grading Committee will form teams based on grouping and or grading results and the number of players. Teams will be announced mid February.
STEP 6
Once a complete Team is formed the Coach or Manager can apply to the Club for a regular training day and time allocation.  Once the Club has allocated a Team a training field and day / time the Coach and or Manager can commence training.

Please note Judy Masters Ground 2 is available for football training and team activities in January and February 2026, until the end of the 2025 Cricket Season in late February or March at which point all of Judy Masters will become available for football activities.
STEP 7
Ensure your child owns football boots and shin pads. BJFC Training Shirts, shorts and socks will be provided for new U6 players. All items are available online or in store from the Uniform Shop.

1. 2026 Grading and Trial dates (U10 to U18 boys and girls)

For players seeking to be considered for our Division 1 or Division 2 teams please note that Grading, Trial and Grouping sessions are as follows at Judy Masters Oval. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start times listed below at the Balgownie Clubhouse to sign in, get a bib and warm up before the Grading session starts.

* Girls only Teams available in each age group from U6 Girls to U18 Girls.
* Girls welcome to attend selection trials in U10, U11 - Advanced and High teams.
* Girls welcome to attend selection trials in U12, U13, U14, U15 - Division 1 and Division 2 teams.

* Mixed Teams (boys and girls) available in each age group from U6 to U15.
* Boys only in U16, U17, U18, U19 teams as per Football NSW and Football South Coast Competition Regulations.

2. 2026 Registration Fees

5th January to 31st January 2026 (attracts a $25 Early Bird Discount)

  • U6, U7, U8 – 2026 Early Bird registration fee is $165.
  • U9, U10, U11 – 2026 Early Bird registration fee is $170.
  • U12, U13, U14 – 2026 Early Bird registration fee is $190.
  • U15, U16  – 2026 Early Bird registration fee is $195.
  • U17, U18 – 2026 Early Bird registration fee is $205.
  • U19 – 2026 Early Bird registration fee is $310.

* The Early Bird discount is a $25 reduction per player available until 1st February 2026
* From 1st February the Early Bird January prices rise by $25 in the Playfootball registration system.
* Please note if an U11 player registers in U12’s the Fee will be $190 due higher costs for the graded age group.
* All fees will attract a credit card processing fee in the Playfootball registration system at the payment screen.

1st February 2026 to 15th March 2026

  • U6 – registration fee is $165 until the end of February 2026. In March the U6 fee will rise to $190.
  • U7, U8 – 2026 registration fee is $190.
  • U9, U10, U11 – 2026 registration fee is $195.
  • U12, U13, U14 – 2026 registration fee is $215.
  • U15, U16 – 2026 registration fee is $220.
  • U17, U18 – 2026 registration fee is $230.
  • U19 – 2026 registration fee is $335.

* All fees will attract a credit card processing fee in the Playfootball portal at the payment screen.

3. Please note that Registration assists with the following expenses:

  • Football South Coast fee per player
  • Football NSW fee per player
  • Football Federation Australia fee per player
  • Insurance for both individual players and the Balgownie Junior Football Club
  • Ground rental for both training and match days
  • Trophies
  • Uniform design and production
  • Playing and training equipment
  • Upgrading of clubhouse facilities as per Council requirements
  • Referee payments
  • The Balgownie canteen helps to offset these and other expenses incurred in the running of the Club and has been the primary source of income for BJFC.
