Code of Behaviour

BJFC Players, Coaches, Managers, Parents and Volunteers are to abide by the code described in the Club’s Constitution following Code of Conduct as issued by Football Australia and Football South Coast. All persons interested in coaching and or managing a team are required to have a valid Working with Children Check prior to being appointed by the Club up a team official.

Besides the code of conduct there is also a general policy regarding the Protection and Safe Guarding of our players. This policy is administered by the Balgownie Junior Football Club and specifically our Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO).

Each Club in the FSC jurisdiction has to nominate at least one MPIO. All complaints regarding a breach of any of the codes needs to be directed to the MPIO in writing.
